Day 16

Blog Post #17 – January 16th, 2o20.

The day started off with a note from my work computer that the windows 7 is no longer supported.  So apparently I need to buy a new operating system. They cost about $200 and have to be installed by a computer expert.  I have three computers at my office and I assume all three will have to be installed so there goes $1,000.00 or so. This planned obsolescence is a waste of money and ultimately the planet. That is another problem with 5 year plans.  People come in with 4-5 year old cars that are still underwater due to years of rolling in negative equity from the prior car. They can’t afford to properly maintain their homes and cars so they fall apart quicker than usual. 

I had a rough day at court and at the office dealing with clients.  I would have loved to come home and had a nice glass of wine. I am trying to do a dry January and to make it easier to stay on the wagon I did not buy any wine.  So I settled for an hour and 15 minute spin class and a topo chico. A glass of wine would have been better!
