Blog Post #21 – January 20th, 2020.
I heard about a study some scientists had completed where they determined January 20th is the most depressing day of the year. The bills from Christmas have all arrived, the willpower to stick to New Year’s resolutions is fading, all the christmas decorations are down, it is cold and dreary and spring is still a long way away. I can believe it. This year January 20th is a Monday to boot.
So I got up and walked the dog, packed my lunch and my gym bag, went to work and the gym after work. Just a normal day. I did not spend any money today. My car is getting low on gas so I will have to fill it up tomorrow and I will have to buy lunch tomorrow because I have hearings at 10:30 and 1:00 downtown at the courthouse. Even though its just 11 days to the end of the month it seems like a long time yet to go. I cannot imagine having to do this for 60 months. Especially if I had deferred maintenance on my car, house, and appliances.
